The Hand Gestures poster was a college assignment. The structured layout allows the information to flow and adds to its legibility. The photos provide a clear visual and the color palette is used to bring attention where necessary.
The Skate Battlefords project was created for the local skating club’s 2018 yearend showcase. Illustrator was used to create the graphic and InDesign for the content layout. This poster captures the excitement of the event and pulls in all of the club’s colors.
Without beautiful composition, even the best graphic elements will fall short. Poster design takes all of these elements; graphics, type, and color which forms them into one cohesive design. Each of these designs has a distinct focus and balance, drawing your eye to the important details.
This poster was a college final assignment and was created solely in Photoshop. The project assignment was to create a poster for a zoo that features rare animal exhibits. We were challenged to create a unique hybrid creature along with their environment. I combined a photograph of a hippo and a moose to form the exotic Hippopotomoose. The surroundings are a composition of a few different photos. I wanted to create an illusion of the creature, slipping through the shadows, catching a brief, rare glimpse of the mysterious animal.
